In December, SeaWorld San Diego made their way to the desert of Nevada for a little show and tell! To help promote their SeaWorld Cares conservation project, we were honored to have a handful of their animals – ones that adapt heartily to a winter environment – in Viator’s Las Vegas office.

[PHOTOS] Maui Sunset Dinner Cruise
Somebody handed me a Mai Tai as soon as we sat down on the Maui Sunset Dinner Cruise. I think I could get used to this! Later I even succeed in convincing my darling to dance to “Easy Like Sunday Morning”. Yes, it’s all very easy. Our hotel had a shuttle that dropped us off just ten minutes away from the harbor. We found the check-in spot and had a few spare minutes for postcard shopping in the nearby souvenir shops.

8 of America’s Lesser Known National Parks
The U.S. National Park system is arguably one of the greatest collections of preserved space the world has ever seen. From snow-capped glacial peaks to meandering coastal shorelines, some of the United States‘ most awe-inspiring natural sights are found within the national parks. That being said, utter the phrase “national park” and most people will only be able to cough up a few of the usual suspects: Yellowstone, Yosemite, Grand Canyon. In 2010, the most visited national park in the United States was Great Smoky Mountains National Park with an astounding 9.4 million visitors.

The Best of Seattle and Washington State
Before I arrived in Seattle, the sum total of my knowledge about the city amounted to a handful of stereotypes. Plucking words at random, I could give you Starbucks, Microsoft and Nirvana. What I wasn’t expecting was a truly endearing city that ticks the right boxes on almost every level. It’s a chilled out, dressed-down place where the nerds outnumber the jocks, and people have a genuine enthusiasm for giving something a go.
