Until you have tried Hot Air Ballooning, you really can’t have any idea of what a surreal experience it is. I certainly didn’t. I was totally unprepared for the other-worldly nature of the flight, the eerie quiet, the beauty of seeing other balloons in flight near us, and the very different view of our world that’s available from just a few thousand feet overhead.
