Matsuri in Las Vegas

What's the latest in Las Vegas shows? It's called Matsuri, at the Imperial Palace on the Strip. Matsuri means "Festival" in Japanese, and that's exactly what this show feels like - a festival of Japanese dancers and acrobats, full of dazzling color and bravado. For a limited time we're giving away 2 free tickets to Matsuri...

What’s New in Las Vegas

Las Vegas? There is no better place to visit right now! The weather is beautiful (not too hot yet), the prices of hotel rooms are the same as they were 15 years ago (hellloooo 1994!) and Viator has more to offer than ever before (no joke - we really do).

Contest: Las Vegas Dinner & Show

Editor's note: The contest is now closed and we're pleased to announce the winners! It was not an easy decision, there were a lot of great entries. But we've selected 2 runners-up and 1 grand prize winner for answering one simple question: "Why should Viator give YOU free tickets to a Las Vegas dinner & show?" The catch -- your answer must be 10 words or less! We've written about the new Dinner in the Sky in Las Vegas, involving a large crane, an elevated outdoor table, and amazing views of the Las Vegas skyline...

Update on the Grand Canyon Skywalk

It's been just over two years since the Grand Canyon Skywalk opened. Since then the Skywalk has become one of the top attractions on the Grand Canyon's West Rim (click here for a map of the Las Vegas & Grand Canyon areas or tips on visiting the Grand Canyon from Las Vegas). If you've been following the news about the Skywalk, you'll know that it had a rough start (minimal facilities, long lines). We've remained enthusiastic supporters of the Skywalk and its caretakers, the Hualapai tribe. But we did have some concerns about the inevitable crowds the Skywalk would draw, and the ability of the organizers to cope with the rush of visitors.

Las Vegas Day Trip: Death Valley

Ghost towns, mysterious moving rocks, acrid salt flats, sweeping sand dunes, chiseled canyons, surreal landscapes, and a posh desert castle. Death Valley was just the sort of quirky place I was looking to spend a few, cherished vacation days.

Grand Canyon National Park: Happy 90th Birthday

Happy 90th birthday to the Grand Canyon! Yes we're a day late, hopefully the Grand Canyon isn't offended that we forgot to call yesterday and sing it birthday greetings. No cupcakes or birthday cake either. Sheesh, what kind of birthday party is this? Let's call it less of a party and more of an homage. After 90 years as an official National Park, the Grand Canyon continues to dazzle even the most jaded travelers.

Dinner in the Sky Las Vegas

Have you heard of the 'dining in the dark' craze? Sure it sounds fun. And yet we already hear you wondering, what will they possibly think of next? We have the answer! It involves Las Vegas, a very large crane, and an outdoor platform almost 200 feet above the ground with 180-degree views over the city. It's called Dinner in the Sky. It's at the Trump International Hotel. And it's really, really cool.

Neon Graveyard in Las Vegas

As a recent resident of Las Vegas, I was excited by the prospect of visiting the Neon Graveyard. Located on Las Vegas Boulevard (The Strip) north of Downtown and the Fremont Street Experience, the Neon Graveyard (a.k.a. Neon Museum or The Boneyard) offers an eclectic mix of old Vegas and new. From pre-WWII signs to the recent Stardust implosion, I glimpsed at a world of ever-changing fonts, ideas, and images.

Only in Las Vegas: Weddings from Classic to Cheesy

Las Vegas wedding - the classy version Las Vegas is known for many things - gambling, neon, mega-resorts and, of course, the infamous “quickie wedding.” Obviously not all weddings in Vegas are last-minute drunken and debauched events! In fact, almost 50% of weddings that are booked in Las Vegas are carefully planned in advance, right down to [...]
