Editor’s Note: Viator recently held a contest to “Win Your Dream Travel Job” where we selected 4 finalists to travel the world shooting video. For 60 days, these teams traveled and filmed in some of the world’s top destinations, documenting their experiences along the way. Go here to watch their unforgettable journey!
As they were traveling, Ryan and Asha filmed hundreds of hours of footage, which includes dozens of Viator tours plus some fun behind-the-scenes moments. Stay tuned for more tour video updates in the coming months, and in the meantime check out a recap of some of the adventures they captured on their iPad!
Upon arriving in Dublin, they rented a car, and – as it happens – they got a little lost. But with some Irish luck they made it to their hotel in time to rest up before their busy night at the Guinness Storehouse.
There they also made some new friends–it’s always easy to bond over a good drink, right?
Ryan and Asha spend the morning at Wicklow Mountains, and while driving through the Irish countryside Ryan realizes it is GREEN!
You’re right, Ryan! It is green… and yellow!
That night they spend time at a traditional Irish house party, where they witness lots of music, storytelling, and dancing in a warm and friendly atmosphere.
The team met up with Viator Private Guide Rob McElroy, who was full of energy and eager to show them the sights. He showed them around Poulnabrone dolmen, Doolin, and the incredible Cliffs of Moher, and he even serenaded them with some Irish tunes.
On their last day in Ireland, Private Guide Rob took Ryan and Asha on another fun tour, and this time it was around the city. After meeting at Trinity College, they saw the Book of Kells, Dublin Castle, St. Patrick’s Cathedral, Dublin backstreets, Ha’penny Bridge, and Temple Bar.
The team spent their last night on a Traditional Irish Music Pub Crawl, where they enjoyed some more live music, Guinness, and fun company. They did a pretty good job at hitting all the top attractions in just four days, yeah?
Next stop: Amsterdam!
