After enjoying the beach and riding in fancy cars in Barcelona, the team headed to Madrid–their last stop in Spain. (And there are only two more cities left on their trip!) Here they drank sangria, took day trips, and marveled at the beauty of the Spanish countryside.
As they were traveling, Ryan and Asha filmed hundreds of hours of footage, which includes dozens of Viator tours plus some fun behind-the-scenes moments. Stay tuned for more tour video updates in the coming months, and in the meantime check out a recap of some of the adventures they captured on their iPad!
Day 1
On a Madrid Tapas Night Walking Tour, Ryan and Asha were able to sample local delicacies and get a taste of Spanish nightlife. The tour includes a chance to try tapas and drinks at madrileño bars and restaurants and is led by a foodie guide.
"Salud!"
Day 2
In the morning, the Madrid Segway Tour took them past the Royal Palace, the Almudena, Templo de Debod and the Mayor and de Espana Plazas. All these Segway tours has allowed the team to hone their filming-while-Segwaying skills–that can’t be easy!
That night they enjoyed a Flamenco Show at Torres Bermejas, where they were entertained by an internationally renowned flamenco group of more than 20 artists!
Day 3
On an El Escorial Monastery and Toledo Day Trip from Madrid, Ryan and Asha first stopped at the Valley of the Fallen monument, which was erected in memory of the millions who died in the Spanish Civil War.

From there they drove over to Toledo, Spain’s medieval capital and a treasure trove of architecture and El Greco art.
Ryan says: "Holy Toledo, this town is beautiful!"
Day 4
In addition to Segwaying, hop-on hop-off tours are a great way to get familiarized with a new place. The Madrid City Hop-on Hop-off Tour took them past all of the city’s top sights, and they could get on and off wherever they wanted!
The 0 km line at Puerto del Sol - the center of Spain's network of roads.
And then the next day they were off for the next part of their adventure! ¡Hasta luego, España!
Bye bye, Spain!
Next stop: Paris!
