Editor’s Note: Viator recently held a contest to “Win Your Dream Travel Job” where we selected 4 finalists to travel the world shooting video. For 60 days, these teams traveled and filmed in some of the world’s top destinations, documenting their experiences along the way. Go here to watch their unforgettable journey!

From Los Angeles, Jules and Brock went further south in California to San Diego. Like LA, San Diego is known for its beaches and affluent neighborhoods, but it also offers world-famous animals parks and beautiful coastline scenery.

Day 1

At the San Diego Zoo Safari Park, hundreds of animals run around within near-natural surroundings and visitors can easily see many up-close. Jules and Brock took advantage of their proximity to the animals as they fed giraffes and rhinos and photographed lions.

Day 2

USS Midway Museum is home to one of the largest aircraft carriers in the US Navy fleet, and houses over 60 exhibits including the flight deck, galley, engine room and more. Brock and Jules got to see what it was like living aboard a “city at sea”, and were able to get a nice view of San Diego from the museum.

Day 3

SeaWorld San Diego is one of the city’s main attractions and is most famously know as the home of Shamu, a killer whale. Here, the team saw a live show and got to tour the different animal exhibits.
