Editor’s Note: Viator recently held a contest to “Win Your Dream Travel Job” where we selected 4 finalists to travel the world shooting video. For 60 days, these teams traveled and filmed in some of the world’s top destinations, documenting their experiences along the way. Go here to watch their unforgettable journey!

For the first leg of Team North America’s journey, they made their way north from San Francisco to Vancouver. There they walked across a giant bridge, rode in a seaplane, ate dinner on a cruise, hopped on and off a bus, and even jumped on a ferry. (We like to keep them busy!)

Luckily Brock is Canadian, so the team shouldn’t have trouble with things like identifying and using the local currency… or will they?

As they were traveling, Jules and Brock filmed hundreds of hours of footage, which includes dozens of Viator tours plus some fun behind-the-scenes moments. Stay tuned for more tour video updates in the coming months, and in the meantime check out a recap of some of the adventures they captured on their iPad!

Day 1

Brock and Jules left San Francisco for Canada to begin their big 60-day journey across North America!

To get acquainted with Vancouver, the team saw the sights and enjoyed a West Coast-themed dinner on a Vancouver Harbor Sunset Dinner Cruise.

Day 2

On another aerial city tour (the team saw San Francisco from a seaplane and a helicopter!), the Victoria by Seaplane and Ferry from Vancouver took them on a 35-minute flight over the Gulf Islands to the island of Victoria.

In Victoria, they explored local shops and attractions, including the lovely Butchart Gardens.

Day 3

With the Vancouver North Shore Day Trip with Capilano Suspension Bridge and Grouse Mountain, Jules and Brock faced their fear of heights on the world’s longest suspension footbridge, took a ride on the Grouse Mountain Skyride and saw grizzly bears in the Refuge for Endangered Wildlife.

Day 4

During their last day in Vancity, Brock and Jules first headed to Granville Island, where they toured the Public Market, art galleries, and shops.

Then they had one final look at the city on a Vancouver Hop-on Hop-off tour. See you later, Vancouver!
