Editor’s Note: Viator recently held a contest to “Win Your Dream Travel Job” where we selected 4 finalists to travel the world shooting video. For 60 days, these teams traveled and filmed in some of the world’s top destinations, documenting their experiences along the way. Go here to watch their unforgettable journey!

After looking for George Clooney in Milan, Ryan and Asha hopped on another train to Venice. There, they spent five days exploring the canals, getting lost, and indulging in gelato for the last time on this trip.

As they were traveling, Ryan and Asha filmed hundreds of hours of footage, which includes dozens of Viator tours plus some fun behind-the-scenes moments. Stay tuned for more tour video updates in the coming months, and in the meantime check out a recap of some of the adventures they captured on their iPad!

Day 1

On a private water taxi transfer, they arrived to their hotel in style. What a great way to get a first look at the city!

Day 2

The next day, they spent the morning exploring on a Venice walking tour. On this tour, they saw the best of the city, and also got skip-the-line access to Doges Palace.

That night they enjoyed a Venice by Night tour, which also included a romantic gondola ride. The team got to see the famous Rialto Bridge, plus hidden local gems before cruising along the canals on a gondola.

Day 3

If Ryan and Asha were going to get lost, Venice was the place to do it! They spent the morning wandering (lost) through narrow alleys and soaking in the beauty of the city.

That evening, they took a tour of the Grand Canal followed by a serenaded gondola ride.

With an estimated 400-500 gondolas in Venice, there are sure to be lots of traffic jams!

The team also cut a pizza just for us:

Aww! Thanks, guys!

Day 4

Team Europe took a tour of Murano, Burano, and Torcello, the famous islands of the Venice lagoon. Murano is famous for glass-blowing, lace can be found on Burano, and Venice’s first church is on the island of Torcello.

Ryan compared colorful Burano to Candyland:

“Bye bye, Venice!”

See you in Barcelona!
