Meet Dilek!

Fluent in both Spanish in English (a result of five years studying Travel and Tourism in England’s Greenwich School of Management and a winter of Spanish immersion courses in Guatemala), Dilek is prepared to guide tourists from all over the world. Having traveled to most of Turkey’s major tourist destinations and innumerable historic cities, she has both the education and experience necessary to provide her clients with a unique experience.

All of Dilek’s tours are custom-designed to fit your needs and preferences, though her most popular tours may be her walking tours of Sultanahmet and the historic peninsula on the Golden Horn, where you can experience the imperial centre of Turkish Ottoman Empire, the Blue Mosque, Topkap? Palace, the Grand Bazaar, and Byzantine monuments such as the Hagia Sophia, the Basilica Cistern and the Hippodrome. Dilek can also organize boat tours of the Bosphorus, walking tours of the spice market and Dolmabahce Palace, tours of Jewish heritage sites and can even help you hunt down the things you’re interested in purchasing in the city’s bazaars.

Easy-going, open and knowledgeable, Dilek gives her clients a unique and intimate portrait of what it is like to live in Istanbul and grow up in Turkey. After your tour with Dilek, you’re sure to leave Istanbul satisfied.
