Meet Suzie Anon y Garcia, one of Viator’s local experts in Valencia, Spain with a license to provide private tours.
Suzie’s story is quite interesting. She was born half-Dutch and half-Spanish, and grew up in Holland. After visiting Valencia on her travels, however, she fell in love and knew that she wanted to live there, and ultimately became a certified tour guide by the Valencian Guides Association in her adopted home. Suzie has since been providing private tours, for 3 years now, to guests that are interested in experiencing her passion for food, wine, shopping, and Latin dancing – strong components of the Spanish culture — among the more traditional tourist attractions.
Suzie prides herself on offering tailored and personalized tours of Valencia to guests across the globe. Being a traveler herself, she understands that every person has their own preferences for what makes a great tour.

Some of Suzie’s primary tour options include the 4-hour Shore Excursion Valencia Highlights, and the Gourmet Yummie Tour, a food exploration. In addition, there are options to going on a walking tour, a tapas tour, a bike tour, a Segway tour, or a markets tour. Her primary focus is on small groups, couples and families as those allow her to give the most personalization.
Above all, Suzie prefers to call her tour clients “guests” and help them to explore Valencia from a local’s perspective, deep inside the culture, instead of like a tourist that may tend to graze across the surface. As both a local, and a fluent English speaker, Suzie is just the kind of tour guide one needs to fully explore the city.
