Sometimes, new technology makes life more complicated. Think: the highly programmable coffee-espresso machine that collects dust in your kitchen pantry.
Other times, new technology looks cool at first. And then quickly turns tedious. Think: laser pointers and clapping light switches.
And then once in a blue moon, along comes something new that is actually useful. In this category we are placing Twitter. Yes I know, for many of you, the very mention of the word “Twitter” makes you ill. You’re tired of it, it’s just a fad, won’t it please go away.
It may be that some of you have never heard of it. That’s OK too.
The reason we mention it is, Twitter (for all of its annoying faults) is very useful when it comes to promoting travel deals. So we’ve started a Viator Travel Deals Twitter feed. Simply click “follow” and you’ll receive it. We’re not going to bore you with the latest insights gleaned at breakfast. We won’t Twitter when we’re going to bed. We won’t Twitter when we stub our toe.
